Ethanolic extract of nilavembu kudineer choornam (Formulation-Siddha)Antipyretic, Anti-inflammatory, AnalgesicEthanolic extract of nilavembu kudineer choornam (EENKC) [200 mg/kg] reduced pyrexia at 1 to 5 h compared to 0 h of the same group animals. EENKC (200 mg/kg) inhibited inflammation with greater efficacy than Indomethacin in Carrageenan-induced paw edema. EENKC pretreatment reduced the painful response produced by Acetic acid induced aminals. [1]
