What is UDYAMITA 1.0 ?
CSIR-NEIST BioNEST along with Ecosystem Partner, Assam Startup- The NEST presents an Ideathon challenge - Udyamita 1.0 as an engaging platform to promote market-oriented groundbreaking early-stage innovation and entrepreneurial ideas. The Ideathon would be organised in two groups:
- Ideation Stage: Conceptualization of startup ideas and refined innovative solutions to address unmet need.
- Prototype Stage: Validation of startup’s core concept through initial prototype development.
Who can Paticipate ?
- Udyamita 1.0 is open to any individual or group innovators, entrepreneurs, earlystage start-ups, research scholars, scientists, students, faculties etc. from NE region with any educational background.
- The applicants may apply as an individual, team of individuals, business entity, or as a society.
Encouraged Sectors
Food technology, nutraceuticals, industrial biotechnology, health technology, agriculture & allied areas, green technology etc. The ideas/ prototypes should include at least one component from biological sciences.
The proposed ideas, technologies, or solutions should be innovative, market driven and have societal impact.

- Payment slip.
- Registration/ Incorporation certificate (if you are a Business Entity).
