INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

• The applicant should go through the instructions carefully before filling the ONLINE application form and provide correct/accurate information.
• The applicant should visit the CSIR-NEIST website or refer to the Employment News for the Advertisement details.
• The mode of applying is only through online and the online application should be submitted only through CSIR-NEIST website www.neist.res.in.
• Applications once submitted will not be withdrawn and fees once paid will not be refunded on any count nor can it be held in reserve for any other future recruitment or selection process.
• Applicants should click on the respective Post Code Link given below to fill in the application form to submit his/her application for the particular post. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application form for each post indicating the Post Code No. of the post. The hard copy(s) of each application must be accompanied by separate Demand Draft(s), if applicable.
• Application form consists of 2 parts (Part 1/Part 2/) and subsequent parts can be accessed, only when the previous part is filled properly and completely.
• If an applicant does not have a valid email id, he/she should create a new valid email id before applying online.
• Successfully submitted online application is indicated by the page displayed after clicking Confirm button with the generated Application Number. Please note down the same carefully and preserve it, you will not be able to Re-print the application form. Application Number has to be quoted for any future communication regarding the candidature. Please do the required page setup before taking the final printout of the application on A4 size paper in portrait orientation.
• In case candidate wants to modify the application, he/she can use the Edit button before clicking confirm. The form is not editable at the later stage, i.e. Part 1 & 2 shall have to be filled at one stretch again. Please remember to take a onetime fresh print out after any changes.
• The computer generated application (print out) duly accompanied by self-attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate if applicable along with one recent passport size self-attested photograph affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope superscripted “ APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF____________(POST CODE__________)” by post to the address Administrative officer, CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat-785006, Assam.
• The size of photo to be uploaded should be 20-50 kb and dimensions should be 200 X 230 pixel. Photos with caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. If the applicant wears glasses, please make sure that there are no reflections and the eyes can be clearly seen.
• Please do not refresh the page after confirming the application preview. System will take few seconds to generate printable application. If for any reason you are unable to take a printout, please do not attempt to re-submit the application online again. Applicant can refresh the page for refilling/resetting in case of any correction required.
• Please write your complete address for correspondence in the given space mentioning the complete overseas address and while choosing the mandatory drop down field for the Indian State please choose the state of your domicile.
