Srimanta Sankardeva’s 569th Birth Anniversary Celebration Committee of CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, invites application for its ‘Academic Encouragement Award’
The Sri Sri Sankardev’s Birth Anniversary Celebration Committee under the banner of, CSIR-NEIST Staff Club, Jorhat, introduced an ‘Academic Encouragement Award’ last year for persons working for socio-cultural sector of Assam. The award comprises of a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.00 (rupees ten thousand only) and a citation. The Organizing Committee invites applications for the award this year from individuals working on ‘Development and expansion of handicrafts’, which is the theme for the award this year. The work of the applicant on the above mentioned subject should have relevance to Sankari culture. The Application Form may be downloaded from the CSIR-NEIST website www.neist.res.in.
